Communications

1. Transactional messages

Couranr may send transactional messages reasonably necessary to confirm an order, provide a secure guest tracking link, communicate delivery status, request a replacement decision, communicate a refund, handle a return, send a recall or safety notice, secure an account, respond to support, or provide information necessary to complete an agreed transaction.

Transactional messages remain primarily transactional.

2. Marketing email

Promotional email is separate from necessary order communication.

Marketing email uses accurate header and routing information, a subject line that is not deceptive, identification as advertising where required, the required business and contact information, a working unsubscribe mechanism, and honors opt-out requests within the applicable legal period.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent Couranr from sending necessary transactional, security, safety, recall, or order messages.

3. Phone numbers

Providing a phone number for delivery or contact is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing texts.

4. SMS

SMS is not a launch feature. Before promotional SMS is activated, Couranr must implement a separate compliant consent process.

If transactional SMS is activated, you will be told what type of messages will be sent, that message and data rates may apply, how to stop messages where applicable, how to obtain help, and that consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.

5. No fake delivery status

A notification is not marked "sent" when Couranr merely attempted a channel that is not actually configured.

What Couranr's operational records say about a notification matches what the messaging provider actually did.
